Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are embedding itself in all different aspects of life and music has not been immune to the attempts. There has been many attempts to create music artificially (note that this is different from Digital Music); maybe it's important to note the difference:

1) Digital Music is still created by a human being, but instead of spending years studying music and an instrument you rely on a digital database that can produce the sounds for you, so at the end of the day there is a person behind the creation that choses how to mix the music together

2) AI music however can produce music from A-Z independently, the more music you have fed the machine the more it's able to create something out of thin air. Most interesting examples I have come across is an attempt to finish a symphony by a famous composer who died before completing it and most recently the COVID-19 piece which you can find on Sondcloud.
